This Thursday, March 24th, The Braves World Series Championship Trophy will be on display in Milledgeville. WGUR’s Sophia Ricketts has the story.

The trophy commemorates the Braves’ historic season and the team’s first World Series win in over 2 decades.

Fans will be able to visit the award at the Georgia College West Campus Pavilion from 3-6 PM.

The event is free to all members of the public as well as students.

Event comers will be able to take photos with the trophy, and with the GCSU basketball and softball teams.

Georgia College’s mascot, Thunder the Bobcat, will also be making an appearance for photos.
